ASAP ( Accelerated SAP) is one of the important SDLC used in SAP implementation projects.
There are six phases of a implementation project
1. Project preparation
2. Business blueprint
3. Realization
4. Final preparation
5. Go-live
6. Post-production support
Project preparation - Initial planning and preparation of the project.
Business blueprint - A detailed documentation of the results gathered during the requirement stage and it represents the requirement for a business process of the company. It intends to specify how the business is run of a company within the SAP system.
Realization - This phase is for the implementation of all business process based on the business blueprint.
Final preparation - The purpose of this step is to complete the final preparation like testing,end user training, system management and cutover activities.
Go-live - In this phase you are ready to run the system live for the business in your SAP system.
Post-production support - Once the project is live the SAP specialist fix the issues if any and also do the further upgrades,rollouts,application enhancements.
